What is this tool?
A typing speed test that runs entirely in your browser. WPM counts correctly typed characters (five per word) per minute; raw WPM counts everything you typed; accuracy is correct keystrokes out of all keystrokes, so a corrected mistake still counts against it; and consistency shows how steady your pace was from one second to the next. Arabic tests are right-to-left, and diacritics can be ignored or required.

Frequently asked questions
How is WPM calculated?
WPM is the number of correctly typed characters, including the spaces after correct words, divided by five and then by the minutes elapsed. Raw WPM uses every character you typed, right or wrong.
What does consistency mean?
It measures how even your speed was across each second of the test. Typing at a steady pace scores close to 100%, while bursts and pauses lower it.
Can I restart without the mouse?
Yes. Press Esc to restart instantly, or Tab then Enter. On the results screen, Enter starts the next test.
Are my results uploaded anywhere?
No. The test runs locally, and your settings, personal bests and history are saved only in this browser's storage.
