Image Rotator & Flipper

What is this tool?

The Image Rotator & Flipper turns images clockwise or counter-clockwise and mirrors them left-to-right or top-to-bottom. Quarter turns keep every pixel exactly as it was; free angles enlarge the canvas so no corner is cut off. You can process one image or up to 50 at once and download the results as a ZIP.

When to use it

  • Fixing photos that came out of a phone or scanner sideways
  • Mirroring a selfie or a graphic for print or a reflection effect
  • Straightening a slightly tilted picture with a custom angle
  • Rotating a whole batch of scans or screenshots in one go
  • Preparing images for a layout that needs a specific orientation

How to use it

  1. 1Drop one or more images onto the page
  2. 2Use the 90° buttons, the angle slider or the flip toggles — the preview updates instantly
  3. 3Choose an output format (the original format is kept by default)
  4. 4Click Download — a single image downloads directly, several arrive as a ZIP

Frequently asked questions

Does rotating reduce image quality?

Rotating by 90°, 180° or 270° moves pixels without changing them. JPEG and WebP outputs are re-encoded at high quality, so choose PNG if you want a strictly lossless result.

What happens at angles that aren't multiples of 90°?

The canvas grows so the whole picture fits, and the new corners are transparent. Pick PNG or WebP to keep that transparency; JPEG fills them with white.

Can I rotate many images at once?

Yes — up to 50 images per batch, all with the same settings, delivered as one ZIP.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Rotation and flipping happen on your device in the browser; nothing is sent to a server.

Does it support iPhone HEIC photos?

Yes. HEIC/HEIF files are decoded in your browser and saved as PNG, JPEG or WebP.
