What is this tool?
The SVG to PNG Rasterizer draws an SVG at your target resolution and saves it as PNG, JPEG or WebP. The size is applied to the vector itself before drawing, so edges stay sharp instead of being stretched like a screenshot of a small image would be.
When to use it
- Exporting a logo or icon as a PNG for a site, app or slide deck
- Making retina (2×, 3×, 4×) versions of a vector asset
- Creating social-media images from an SVG design
- Converting SVGs that a platform refuses to accept
- Batch-exporting a folder of icons at the same size
How to use it
- 1Drop one or more SVG files
- 2Choose Scale, Width or Height and set the size
- 3Pick a transparent, white or custom background and an output format
- 4Click Download — several files arrive as a ZIP
Frequently asked questions
Will the PNG stay transparent?
Yes, with the Transparent background and PNG or WebP output. JPEG can't be transparent, so it uses a white background.
What if my SVG has no width and height?
The size is read from its viewBox. If that is missing too, the browser default of 300×150 is used as the 1× size.
Why do some fonts or linked images look wrong?
An SVG drawn as an image can't load external fonts, images or stylesheets. Embed them in the file or convert text to outlines before exporting.
How large can the output be?
Up to 16384 px per side, limited further by what your browser and device can draw. The preview shows the actual output size.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The SVG is rendered locally in your browser and never sent to a server.
